Get a head start on the transition to ICD-10 Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) and prepare for your ICD-10 Proficiency Assessment. The AAPC proficiency exam for certified coders will be required beginning October 1, 2015. Our workshop is led by industry expert and approved  ICD-10 instructor Essie White, CPC, CPC-H, CPMA, CPC-I, and is designed to be the first step to assist certified coders prepare for the ICD-10 transition and for the proficiency examination. The workshop will cover:

• ICD-10 format and structure
• ICD-10 crosswalk and mapping
• Comparison of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding guidelines
• Practice scenarios and take home exercises
